Master’s thesis
The Master’s Thesis (MT) is an individual project focused on a mountain area and addressing one of the following topics:
- territorial planning (e.g. natural hazard prevention, spatial and urban planning);
- economic development plans; or
- a business project related to a specific mountain context.
Depending on the topic selected, each student will be assigned a supervisor with expertise in the relevant field, in accordance with the decisions of the Master's Academic Committee and the criteria established for the design, implementation, supervision, and assessment of the thesis.
The Master's Thesis may involve the development of research projects or applied professional projects, either proposed by the student or carried out in collaboration with institutions and organisations associated with the Master's Programme.
A selection of Master's Theses awarded the highest distinction can be consulted in the Open Repository of the University of Lleida.
